Y'all: After trying and failing 20 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act, Sen. John Cornyn now says it's "good news" that Americans who lose their jobs due to COVID-19 can get health care. Yes, you read that right!

But before you think Sen. Cornyn is going to start defending health care for everyone, remember that he's still standing by and doing NOTHING while his allies try to get the ACA struck down in court -- in the middle of a global pandemic!

Texans need a senator who will fight for our health care all the time, not just pay lip service when it's politically convenient.

As a combat veteran and working mom who's faced the realities Texas families deal with every day, MJ understands how important it is that EVERYONE is able to get the care they need, when they need it -- without breaking the bank.

That's why she'll fight to defend the progress we've made with the Affordable Care Act and work to create a public health insurance option for anyone who wants it. But first she needs your help to win this race!

The hypocrisy from Sen. Cornyn is astounding -- and it's clear he needs to go. Will you pitch in to help MJ defeat him this November so she can fight for our health care in the Senate?

It's clear we need a real leader for Texas and a Senate that prioritizes our health care. More than ever, we're relying on online fundraising to keep building the campaign we need to win in November, and we greatly appreciate your continued support >> [link removed]

However, we know this is not an easy time for many. If you'd like to pause receiving fundraising emails for the next few weeks, please let us know here ([link removed]). We'll still keep in touch with important information and to ask your thoughts from time to time.
