We wanted to share a video from this weekend – Elissa sat down with Martha Raddatz on ABC News’ “This Week” for a longer conversation about current events.

In the interview, she talked about her approach to Cabinet confirmation hearings: knowing that while she and President Trump’s nominees may disagree on policy, there should never be any flexibility around respecting the Constitution.

That’s something Elissa is keeping an eye on this week, with soldiers being deployed to the southern border. If our military is asked to play a law enforcement role, rather than a support role – it’s a violation of our Constitution.

Elissa is prepared to work with anyone who’s serious about reforming our immigration system and securing our border, but not at the expense of the Constitution.
