On Elon Musk’s decision to illegally shut down USAID, MAGA Senator John Kennedy just said the quiet part out loud:
They’re coming for the Department of Education. They’re coming for Medicaid. They’re coming for Social Security and more.
Because Trump is afraid he won’t have the votes to gut these critically important agencies and programs in Congress, he’s allowing an unelected billionaire to unilaterally circumvent the law to do it instead.
But nobody elected Elon Musk to the United States government. The United States is still a democracy, and we can’t stand by while unhinged billionaires loot our government for profit.
