Team,
When I served in the Army, I learned that leadership means accountability—it means standing up for what's right, no matter how tough the fight.
That's why I'm outraged by Trump’s January 6th pardons.
The rioters aren’t "political prisoners," "hostages," or "patriots," like Trump and Fox News say. They are insurrectionists—some with violent criminal records that include rape, sexual assault of minors, and even manslaughter.
Team, Trump and his allies love to claim they "back the blue," but on January 6th, over 140 Capitol Police officers were brutally attacked—beaten with flagpoles, tased, and crushed in doorways.
And now, because of these pardons, those attackers are free to do it again.
So this fight is about the rule of law. It’s about whether our country stands with those who protect and defend us—or betrays them by continuing to put them in harm’s way.
I’m speaking out because I swore an oath to defend the Constitution and I’m asking you to join me by supporting Democracy Defense Action today. [[link removed]]
