This weekend, we will hold our first REVIVE IN 25 Tour stop in New Orleans! New Orleans is a city that has seen great tragedies, but despite this, an undercurrent of great faith flows like the mighty Mississippi! We’ve held revivals in New Orleans in the past and seen the Holy Spirit MOVE!
On Saturday, February 8th, we’re praising, worshiping, and praying for the Lord to heal and restore the city of New Orleans. We’ll be joined by local pastors and believers from the Crescent City who are desperate to see the presence of God rest on New Orleans. It will be a POWERFUL TIME, and there’s no better place to kick off the REVIVE IN 25Tour. Preceding the revival, we will hold a Jesus March in the French Quarter!
As we gather to seek spiritual renewal, we must also confront the challenges that threaten our community. The upcoming Super Bowl on February 9th is expected to draw over 120,000 visitors to New Orleans. But while the Super Bowl will bring flashing lights, a seedy darkness will be lingering. Massive events like the Super Bowl are hotspots for depravity, exploiting the vulnerable in our society through human trafficking. We, as the Church, are bringing LIGHT into the darkness, just as Matthew 5:14-16 declares:“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
