I just listened to the Governor’s budget address, and I couldn’t be more excited about what I heard.

The governor is calling for a strong environmental agenda for Pennsylvania this year – with a focus on lowering energy costs for working families by diversifying our electricity sources, creating union jobs, and fighting climate change.

Friend, can you chip in $25.00 today to help us win in Harrisburg and push this pro-environment budget through a divided legislature? 

It’s clear that Governor Shapiro shares our vision for a Pennsylvania that supports its communities by investing in programs like Solar for Schools, public transit, and clean, affordable energy. He is also calling for increased funding for programs that will help us protect rivers and streams by capping abandoned oil and gas wells.

This is good news, but the budget is already facing fierce opposition from oil and gas lobbyists and anti-environment lawmakers in the Senate. With Trump back in office and already attacking federal environmental protections, we can’t afford to lose momentum here in PA.

We need every single member like you to step up to protect our most vulnerable communities and resources — whether it’s $25 to fuel organizing efforts or $100 to support direct lobbying in Harrisburg.

To make this budget a reality, it’s going to take grassroots organizing, mobilizing our members, advocating with our partners, and running targeted campaigns in swing districts. 

We have a tied 101-101 State House and a critical Special Election coming up in March that could tip the balance, so we must act now! It won’t be easy but I know we can get there if all of our members come together today.
