Dear Friend,
Netanyahu is in Washington today for another show steeped in spin, and at the top of his to-do list is sparing his political survival. As someone who spent most of my life in Israel, I see through it. Now, you can too.
A new documentary exposing Netanyahu’s lies, The Bibi Files, is out – and we’re thrilled to offer J Streeters exclusive access online via suggested donation. Its creators, Alex Gibney and Alexis Bloom – along with Shin Bet chief Adm. (ret.) Ami Ayalon, interviewed at length in the film – are joining a J Street-only audience Thursday for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Bibi Files.
Click here to watch The Bibi Files and scroll down to RSVP for the Q&A this Thursday, February 6 at 1pm Eastern / 10am Pacific >>
Using never-before-seen footage, The Bibi Files takes you inside (literally) the interrogation rooms of Netanyahu, his family and his closest allies as authorities crack down on allegations of corruption for which the Prime Minister is on trial now.
See below for my full invitation – and a walkthrough of how you can make sure you’re registered for our can’t-miss event. See you there.

Friends,
I spent most of my life in Israel, and many of those years – far too many years – were under the rule of Prime Minister Netanyahu.
When I look at the Israel of my childhood and the Israel of today, I’m beside myself. The longest-serving leader in Israeli history has trashed the Jewish homeland’s founding principles of freedom, justice and peace in exchange for power.
Corruption has defined Netanyahu’s career, as a highly-anticipated documentary that unpacks and exposes the self-serving motivations of the Prime Minister makes clear.
The Bibi Files tells the story of Israel as a country helmed by Netanyahu, who – in order to save himself – has nurtured an anti-democratic, extreme right for years and more recently, pursued endless war at the expense of the hostages.
Next week, we’ll be joined by the filmmakers for an inside look into the creation of the documentary, and I hope you can join us. Starting today, you can watch The Bibi Files at our exclusive link below and sign up for our J Street friends-and-family-only Q&A.

We’ll be joined by Bibi Files director Emmy-nominated Alexis Bloom, Oscar-winning producer Alex Gibney and former Israeli Shin Bet chief Adm. (ret.) Ami Ayalon, who provides critical on-screen analysis in the documentary. Our guests will have plenty of time to answer your questions, which you can submit ahead of time or during the discussion itself.
