As of midnight on Friday, we officially closed the books on our first end-of-month fundraising deadline since Donald Trump was inaugurated for a second term as President. I am happy to report that we met our goal.

You helped us send a message that Democrats aren’t backing down in the face of right-wing extremist attempts to roll back the progress we’ve made — not now, not ever.

I am deeply grateful for the trust and faith you’ve placed in me to represent you in Congress and to champion our shared values. Your continued support has helped me deliver real results for Wake County, North Carolina, and our country.

There are tough fights ahead, but I have an unshakable faith that we will prevail. Over the next two years, I will not lose sight of what has driven my work in Congress: you.
