We’ve seen some INCREDIBLE pro-life progress these past few weeks!

I commend President Trump and his administration for taking swift action in a few key areas:

Pro-Life Activists Pardoned

Trump used his presidential pardon power to grant clemency to the 23 unjustly imprisoned pro-life activists, such as Joan Bell, Bevelyn Williams, and Lauren Handy. These pro-life warriors were wrongfully prosecuted by Biden’s Department of Justice.

Mexico City Policy Reinstated

President Trump also signed an executive order reestablishing the Mexico City Policy, blocking American taxpayer dollars from funding abortions abroad through foreign aid. This was a GREAT move by President Trump to ensure American taxpayers do NOT fund the killing of babies overseas!

Military Abortion Travel Policy Rescinded 

President Trump through the Department of Defense officially announced this past week that military coverage for abortion travel, which President Biden had instituted, has been revoked. This is an important step to ensure our military works to protect the American people, not kill them through abortion.

While we celebrate these wins, we must call on our leaders and do everything we can in our personal activism to ensure ALL preborn babies are protected during every stage of fetal development.

Other pro-life actions the Trump Administration needs to take:

Curtail the Deadly Abortion Pill

President Trump must direct the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to revoke the approval of the abortion pill and enforce restrictions on its distribution. He must immediately rescind the 2021 and 2023 Biden Admin updates to mifepristone’s Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS), which allowed mail-order distribution and removed in-person dispensing requirements.

Guttmacher’s 2023 data on the abortion pill specifically reveals 642,700 chemical abortions occurring that year. This means 53,558 chemical abortions monthly, 1,761 daily, 73 hourly, and one every 49 seconds in 2023 alone.

Additionally, published percentages show up to 4.6% of women who take the abortion pill end up in the emergency room, which translates to an estimated tens of thousands per year. Up to 7% need surgery due to complications. Contrary to the abortion industry’s claims, abortion is not safe for babies or women.

We will continue to work toward equal protection for all and abolishing abortion at the federal level, and we implore President Trump to support the Life at Conception Act currently filed in the U.S. House of Representatives.
