Friend,

Last week, Donald Trump launched a reckless attack against the American people
-- announcing unilateral, immediate cuts on impactful and popular programs.
People heard how bad this was, they raised their voices, and Trump temporarily
backed off.

But this won't be the last time Trump seeks to implement the dangerous policies
of Project 2025 -- especially with Russell Vought, one of the plan's chief
architects, nominated to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Join me in calling on the Senate to reject Russell Vought’s nomination to lead OMB. [link removed] SIGN THE PETITION → [link removed]

Trump's sweeping cuts were an outright economic sabotage against working
families. But Vought has proposed going even further.

Vought wants to slash trillions in basic services that help American families so
Republicans can give tax cuts to their billionaire friends. That includes
eliminating the Department of Education, cutting disability payments for retired
veterans, gutting SNAP funding for hungry children, and so much more.

During his hearing, Vought made it clear he believes the president can pick and
choose which laws to follow -- and which to ignore. It's lawless and completely
unacceptable.

The American people fought back against Trump's draconian cuts. Now, we must
raise our voices on Vought's dangerous nomination.

Russell Vought's agenda is a nightmare for working people. Sign our petition to tell the Senate to reject his nomination to lead OMB. [link removed]

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
