Folks, 

We asked Iowan taxpayers what they would rather see their dollars go towards instead of private school funding. Take a look at what they said:

“In rural areas we need hospitals.” — Kelly B.

“Use the funds for public education from preschool through college.” — Kathy R.

“Local public safety.” — Steve H.

While folks have different priorities, the consensus is all around the same: Iowans want their taxpayer dollars to benefit everyone in our communities.

Yet, Kim Reynolds has a different vision. She proposes taxpayers spend over $1 billion to fund private schools instead of investing that money into public education.
