His legs have broken under the unnatural weight of his genetically modified body. There are ammonia burns on his chest and in his throat from being forced to sit in the collective filth of tens of thousands of other chickens. At just a few weeks old, he was packed into a dark shed, crammed so tightly against other birds that he is unable to move. A brutal slaughter is just another few weeks away.
