Appointment Changes Announced

For the next few months upcoming changes to clergy appointments will be announced routinely on the Missouri Conference website at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays. Pending appointments are posted after the local congregations have been informed about moves. Typically, appointments transition following the “Fixing of Appointments” service at the conclusion of Annual Conference Session in June, with clergy starting at their new appointments on the first Sunday of July. Clear Opens

Clear opens are churches where it is publicly known that there will be a pastoral transition often due to retirement or a leave of absence. The Conference publishes clear opens on its website to allow Missouri Conference pastors and non-Missouri clergy an opportunity to express their interest in a particular appointment.
