In his first weeks back in office, President Trump has moved to freeze funding for lifesaving programs, decimate the federal workforce, and erase scientific data from government websites.

This is all part of a power grab designed to sow chaos and set our movement back for decades. Make no mistake: Project 2025 is already underway.

President Trump has tapped Russell Vought, a chief architect of Project 2025, to be in charge of the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). If confirmed, he’ll double down on his plans to dismantle key agencies and roll back our progress on climate action.

Take action: Call Congress and urge your senators to vote NO on Russell Vought to stop him from implementing Project 2025.

Last week’s funding freeze, issued by President Trump’s OMB, jeopardized funding for natural disaster recovery efforts in California and North Carolina, home heating assistance for millions of families in the middle of winter, critical funding that keeps our drinking water safe, and other environmental justice projects funded by the Inflation Reduction Act.

This was just a preview of what will happen if Russell Vought takes the reins at OMB and implements his playbook for Project 2025.
