We’d like you to read the latest Washington Report today because we believe that this magazine provides a permanent record of news and context you won’t find in the legacy press or social media.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is in Washington, DC until Thursday (his 14th stay at Blair House) meeting with President Donald Trump, members of the Cabinet and Congress. He’s the first foreign leader to visit the White House since Trump began his second term.
Here’s just one ([link removed]) of the articles you’ll read in this jam-packed magazine, and one to consider during this visit by a leader accused of war crimes, with an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court. Ashish Prashar writes: “The world must maintain a comprehensive record of all individuals and entities responsible for committing genocide in Gaza and Palestine, including those who actively funded, participated in or supported such atrocities. All perpetrators must be held accountable and prosecuted without exception for the destruction of Gaza.”
Other articles in the March/April issue examine the Israeli exception from U.S. law; the Gaza ceasefire; daily life in Gaza; uncertainty in Lebanon’s south; Syria’s complex transition amidst land theft by Israel; Preserving identity and so much more.
