These lambs would have been born into suffering, but because their moms were saved in time, they’ve known sanctuary from day one.

In 2023, over 200 animals were found severely neglected on a North Carolina farm. Among the survivors were Frannie and Evie—two of 10 sheep who found new lives at Farm Sanctuary.
It turned out these gentle sheep were pregnant, and Frannie soon gave birth to her adorable son, Samson. Then, it was triple the joy when Evie’s twins, Jeanne and Margaretta, were born.
For these three little lambs, it was friendship at first sight. As soon as they could, the trio ran and played together, leaping into the joy of sanctuary.
Samson is still small, but he sure is mighty. He likes to do a big stretch to reach the top of the hay feeders and never hesitates to show other sheep in the barn that he’s brave. Jeanne and Margaretta are more low-key, but they make great sidekicks. They tuck in close at night for mom snuggles, but they always have room in their day (and their hearts) for Samson, too.
Because of you, they have their moms and each other. They get to grow up.
