But before I do that, I'd like to share a little on why I got involved with Everytown, Moms Demand Action, and Students Demand Action.
I'm a longtime grassroots organizer, and I've had the chance to work on behalf of several causes that are important to me over the past two decades, especially ones that keep my children—and all children in this country—safe—such as Everytown.
I joined Everytown for Gun Safety in 2019 as the Senior Vice President of Movement Building, where I had the opportunity to see the power of Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers firsthand. It's been an honor to work on so many important cultural, corporate, and national programs and partnerships.
Throughout my time in this movement, I've been continually honored to work alongside gun violence survivors, who inspire me to keep going with their grace, courage, and resilience.
But this is just my story—nearly 11 million others have similar and unique stories on why they joined this movement. So, what’s your story?
