The time to build the education system of the future is now. The stakes are high, the need is urgent and parents are demanding education systems that are as vibrant and dynamic as their children.

Today, we’re releasing the 50CAN network’s 2025 campaign goals in a new report, Moving the Needle. Within, you’ll find essays from some of the nation’s leading education minds on the course we must chart, what parents have told us about their access to educational opportunities and the advocacy goals our state campaigns will pursue as a result.

Building the future of American education cannot be the domain of one single group, foundation or advocate. Instead, it will take all of us working in partnership to deliver a new education system that parents and students desire. With that goal in mind, we’re excited to share the perspectives of five leading education thinkers who are partnering with us to shape the future:
 

• Jay Artis-Wright, Executive Director of the Freedom Coalition for Charter Schools, on being able to choose the education that’s right for you.
• Kevin Huffman, CEO of Accelerate, on the benefit of providing tutoring and care for all.
