The old norm was give a new administration 100 days before grading their performance.  I don't need to wait 100 days.  The first two weeks of the Trump Administration have been nothing short of a disaster. From deliberate attacks on democracy to avoidable failures caused by sheer incompetence, the damage is already piling up.

Yesterday, I called on Democrat Legislators to visit the Federal Locations where Elon was locking out employees out and displacing workers, so they could investigate for themselves what the Billionaire and his minions are doing.  

Elon, an unelected official and the biggest US government contractor is attempting to shut down USAID.  USAID accounts for less than 1% of our budget, provides needed food assistance globally and acts as soft diplomacy combatting Russia & Chinese influence.

I was proud to see Democrat Lawmakers take this advice and go specifically to USAID to see firsthand what Elon is doing.

And what happened: they were denied access.  Congress is a co-equal branch of Government.  But obviously the richest man in the world and Trump Whisperer doesn’t see them as such.

Here is just a snippet of the Trump Chaos:

✅ Members of Congress blocked from USAID
✅ Grants and aid frozen—putting critical programs at risk
✅ J6 rioters who beat law enforcement pardoned (Watch C1 Video Here <[link removed]>)
✅ A tragic accident was blamed on DEI with zero evidence
✅ Unqualified nominees pushed forward
✅ Tariffs that will hurt Americans driving up prices & inflation were announced and then paused without any strategy.

We can’t let this slide. Too many organizations are sitting on the sidelines, unsure how to respond. But Country First.

Country First is leading the charge. The outpouring of action from C1 members has proven that this movement is ready to push back, fight for democracy, and act as a check on this administration. 

Though this administration has been complete chaos, we have seen that when enough people come together and demand accountability, things can change.  Take Trump’s reckless Tariffs for instance.  After reflexively announcing Tariffs on Canada and Mexico – he blinked when there was enough pushback from the American People the Media, Canada, and Mexico.

This Thursday – we will again push back against the reckless nominees this Administration is trying to push through.  Thousands of Country First Members have joined in our Days of Action the past few weeks and have shown what speaking truth to power is all about.
