Monthly update from The Nellie Mae Education Foundation Of Note A Monthly Update from The Nellie Mae Education Foundation COVID-19 Response Update As a funder, we remain steadfast in upholding our responsibility to support New England communities during this challenging time. We want to share some updates around additional grant flexibility we have already shared with current grantee partners, and also share an update on some new funding commitments we have made as part of our ongoing COVID-19 response. Read the Update Updates And Ideas In a new book, At Our Best: Building Youth-Adult Partnerships in Out-of-School Time Settings, CYCLE shares their experiences planning and facilitating Youth Leadership Institutes to explore using youth-adult partnerships to build spaces for authentic youth leadership without reinforcing adultist structures and practices. Race Class Narrative Project, an initiative from Demos, together with ASO Communications, put together an amazing messaging guide on how to talk about COVID-19 in ways that convey urgency, healthy vision, and cross-racial solidarity.
