John,
Bayer is fuming: the EU’s top court has ruled to uphold the ban on bee-killing pesticides – no exceptions.
So Bayer is pushing harder – pressuring national governments to approve the use of toxic neonics anyway, for “emergencies”. Dozens of these approvals have been granted, even after the court’s very clear ruling.
That’s why a small group of bee-defenders is preparing to sue against these fake “emergencies” and make sure governments enforce the ban. But the legal costs are quickly adding up and they need our help.
With all of us coming together now, we can help fund this bee-saving lawsuit and defend the ban to keep these poisons off fields for good.
People-powered lawsuits have always been one of our best weapons against the likes of Bayer. John, can you chip in to help?

It’s not just the EU that has Bayer on the offensive. California recently passed a ban on bee-killing neonics. And the UK just announced plans to move ahead with a total ban too.
Still, Bayer and the mighty pesticide lobby are using whatever tactics and legal loopholes they can to keep sales high and these poisons in widespread use.
That’s how banned pesticides, which decimate pollinator populations, make birds and other wildlife sick, and are even toxic to humans, manage to still end up on crops year after year.
And because these pesticides remain in the environment and in crops long after spraying has stopped – it’s critical that we act quickly to enforce the ban. Before it's too late for bee populations to recover.
The good news is that the EU law is clear. The bee-defenders have lined up a lawyer and the scientific research they need to build a strong case. With our help now, they can take this case to court to defend the ban and bees from Bayer’s poisons.
For years, we’ve worked with local groups to fight for pesticide bans and protect bees, the planet and our health from these poisons – and we’ve won some incredible victories. We can’t let Bayer and the pesticide lobby undo it all now. Not when we’re so close to winning. Together, we can power this bee-saving lawsuit – defending the ban that keeps these pesticides off fields and the natural world – can you chip in to help?
