After seizing systems that control trillions of dollars of U.S. Treasury
payments this weekend, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency
unconstitutionally forced its way into USAID headquarters to shut the
agency down and seize its classified national security materials – putting
them in the hands of 20-year-old kids who work for Musk.

This is a coup. Press releases are as good as thoughts and prayers.
FINALLY, some Democrats are showing BACKBONE and they deserve our thanks.

Rep. Jamie Raskin led other members of Congress in going to the scene of
the crime – the USAID offices – and making clear in front of TV cameras:

"Elon Musk didn't create USAID, and he doesn't have the power to destroy
it. And who's going to stop him? We are! We're going to stop him...We
don't have a fourth branch of government called 'Elon Musk'."

Senator Brian Schatz said that he would block confirmation of all Trump
nominees until Musk releases control of USAID.
