Trump’s billionaire best friend, Elon Musk, is trying to play dictator by illegally ransacking the USAID agency — an agency critical to protecting not only our national security but also to fighting diseases and providing medical care and aid to children across the world.
Elon Musk has locked out USAID employees, and improperly accessed highly classified international information. This is chaos.
I served in the Army for over 25 years defending this nation in uniform, and every one of those days, we worked with USAID to keep our country and civilians safe. Musk may claim that this move makes our government “more efficient,” but let’s be clear: this has nothing to do with government efficiency. It’s a power grab by Trump and Elon Musk and an attempt to bypass Congress. All this move will do is aid and abet our international adversaries, like Russia and China, making them stronger and us weaker.
Just take a look: The former President of Russia just took to X to PRAISE Elon Musk.
This move by Elon Musk is illegal. Plain and simple. USAID can only be dismantled by an act of Congress. Unelected oligarch Elon Musk does not hold that power.
We are witnessing a constitutional crisis and must FIGHT BACK against Elon Musk and Trump. I’m going to fight like hell and will do everything in my power to do so, but I can't succeed without you. I need you to stand by my side to make sure I can continue this fight.
