Billionaire and top Donald Trump ally Elon Musk is renewing calls to defund NPR and PBS – and now Republicans in BOTH chambers of Congress are preparing bills to cut the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s funding.
Now, we’ve learned that Trump’s Federal Communications Commission Chair – who thinks NPR and PBS should be defunded – announced that the FCC will be opening investigations into PBS and NPR.
This is terrible news! With the Republican Congress already working with Donald Trump to implement his Project 2025 agenda, it’s clear Trump and his allies will try and go after any institution that won't fall in line.
