John,
We have some exciting news in our fight to end the death penalty – in the deep-red state of Indiana!
HB 1030, a bill to end capital punishment, has been introduced by Republican state lawmakers. Conservatives taking action in support of the bill can send a clear message to lawmakers and ensure it receives a fair hearing.
Would you forward this message to anyone you know in Indiana and ask them to show their support for repeal?

The death penalty is an unnecessary financial burden on Indiana taxpayers, with capital cases costing the state ten times more than non-capital cases. Ending this failed public policy would free up resources to actually improve public safety and provide healing services to victims’ families.
Please tell your conservative family members, friends, and colleagues to take action – it should take less than a minute. We will send a pre-drafted letter urging Hoosiers’ lawmakers to support H.B. 1030 directly to their office.
