John, it’s Eugene Vindman.
January was a tough month. The Trump administration proved time and time again that they are in the business of protecting the ultra-wealthy instead of improving the lives of working families. A lot has happened, but as we begin my second month in Congress, I wanted to take a moment to hear what specific issues are at the top of your mind.
I ran for Congress to continue defending our democracy and freedoms from extremism, but also to make sure that my children, and my children’s children, live in a country where they have access to adequate reproductive healthcare, a safe and high-quality education, an economy where they can thrive, and a voter's right to make their voice heard.
Those issues matter to me. However, given the dangers posed by a new Trump administration, you may have different priorities.
It’s important to me that I hear your concerns directly from you. I will make it my top priority to deliver for my constituents and Americans across the country.
