![]() Teleconference Sat. May 30 on Wiener's COVID-19 Rise: He's About to Kill Single-Family Zoning. How to Stop Wiener!
Saturday will be a call to action for you city officials and community leaders to email, call and zoom with your own senator AND your own assembly member to stop Wiener.
Wiener, a three-time loser, wasted everyone’s time with his divisive SB 827, SB 50 and SB 50 Redux. He’s back, using the lack of transparent governing to make big moves.
In recent days, Wiener rushed bills through his Housing Committee that he authored or co-authored, that overrun single-family areas with 8-unit developments, encourage cities to jam low-density areas with 10-unit luxury buildings, and a lot more.
Saturday, May 30 at 10 am, it’s time to activate ourselves and hundreds of folks statewide, to save our neighborhoods from Wiener’s misguided vision.
The following Saturday, June 6, in a second teleconference on stopping Wiener, brilliant legal mind Robert Silverstein will be our guest to detail the worst outcomes of his bills.
This Saturday, May 30, we’ll discuss the following:
- Sen. President Toni Atkins’ Housing Task Force’s utter failure to stay independent of Wiener as pledged. Atkins instead released a raft of divisive, top-down Wiener bills. Just days ago.
(CLICK HERE to send letters against the Wiener-dominated upzoning and luxury housing bills from the Senate Housing Task Force.)
- Last year, SoCal legislators turned against Wiener’s attempt to force Bay Area concepts statewide. Wiener’s lie that Gov. Newsom backed SB 50 was one of the last straws. Will SoCal legislators stop Wiener again?
- We halted Wiener’s incessant lie that California was short 3.5M housing units. How do we stop his mess of bad bills in the COVID-19 media vacuum?
- We will give you the key must-kill dates to stop Wiener, so you can act.
- We will explain what to say and how to call, write and zoom local legislators who are stressed, overworked — but listening.
Please join us as we roll up our sleeves, Saturday May 30 at 10 am!
