Tell Your Lawmakers: Expand Eligibility for the Working Families Tax Credit!
The Working Families Tax Credit puts much-needed cash back into the pockets of Washingtonians. Since 2023, Washingtonians with low to moderate incomes have been able to receive up to $1,290 annually in a cash rebate, helping to rebalance our state's upside-down tax code.
Unfortunately, not everyone can access the credit! Only adults without children between the ages of 25-65 are eligible, leaving working young adults and seniors without access to the credit.
HB 1214 would remove this arbitrary age limit, allowing all adults over 18 to access the Working Families Tax Credit.
