Gordon Chang is the author of Plan Red: China's Project to Destroy America (2024), which details China’s penetration of American society. Copies of the book will be available for sponsors of the dinner. At the dinner, Mr. Chang will address current and emerging threats to America from China, North Korea, Iran, and Russia – and how we can address these threats. His writings on China and Korea have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Review, and The Daily Beast, among others. He is a columnist at Newsweek and writes regularly for The Hill.

At the dinner, we will present PRI’s 2025 Baroness Thatcher Liberty Award to Linden Blue, a pioneer in aviation technology and leadership. Mr. Blue is Vice Chairman of General Atomics, a high-tech company and world leader in unpiloted aerial systems (Predators and Reapers), high-power lasers and electromagnetics (Carrier catapults and Railguns), nuclear fusion, and new generation fission reactors. The award is presented annually to an individual who has championed freedom and personal responsibility.

Proceeds from the dinner will support PRI's work to research and advance free-market policy solutions in health care, education freedom, economic growth, poverty, and energy and environmental issues, among other areas. Together, we can achieve our shared vision of the vision of a free and civil society where individuals can achieve their full potential.
