Each month we hold Planning Commission meetings and present to the Board of Island County Commissioners on topics relevant to _Island County’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update [ [link removed] ]_. Below are our upcoming meetings and engagement opportunities.  

*Planning Commission*

The Planning Commission meets on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m and will nominate and elect a Chair and Vice-Chair for 2025. The Agricultural Resource Committee of Island County (ARCIC) and American Legion will be presenting the findings from their outreach in support of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan. Additionally, Long Range staff will present on code changes under consideration for Freeland. View the meeting materials in the _agenda center [ [link removed] ]._

*Board of County Commissioners*

Long Range Planning will present on possible changes to the Freeland zoning code, and discuss past sewer efforts in Freeland, with the BOCC on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Meeting materials will be available in the _agenda center [ [link removed] ]_ later this week.
