Friend, ever since I became New York's attorney general, I've fought relentlessly to defend our values, stand up for justice, and hold the powerful and corrupt accountable.

And in 2024, I stayed true to that fight, securing some major legal victories for the people of New York – wins that I owe to this incredible team of fearless fighters. Here are just a few of our major accomplishments we achieved together this past year:

Defending the Vulnerable and Voiceless

In a monumental victory, my office put a predatory company in its place for exploiting thousands of immigrant families and padding their pockets with their abusive and deceptive tactics. This judgement brought justice to the victims and sent an important message: My office will not hesitate to take action to protect the most vulnerable from malfeasance.

Standing Up to Big Pharma

It's no secret that many pharmaceutical companies have taken advantage of innocent consumers. But together, we're holding them accountable – securing $700 million from Johnson & Johnson for lying about its products causing cancer and taking on drug manufacturers for driving up prescription drug costs by nearly 1,000%.

Keeping Our Communities Safe

With your support, my office has helped take more drugs and guns off the streets of New York. We helped break up nine drug and gun trafficking rings and seized 383 lethal firearms – a step in the right direction for the health and public safety of all.


Protecting Our Children

In our fight against the vaping epidemic, we've secured a historic $462 million settlement against Juul for targeting minors. We've also passed landmark legislation to protect children and teens from addictive social media algorithms.

The Fight Ahead

These victories are not just wins for justice – they're a testament to all we can accomplish when we come together and defend the rights and well-being of New Yorkers and all people. And now, more than ever, I'm determined to keep fighting for the future this great state deserves.
