Here’s what Trump’s tariffs will actually do, if this insanity is not put in check by Congress:

❌ Stop U.S. economic growth, slowing it by an estimated 1.5% this year
❌ Cause a recession in both Canada and Mexico
❌ Usher in an era of lasting “stagflation” — a stagnant economy coupled with high unemployment and persistent inflation

Because the Speaker of the House is a MAGA puppet, Trump will be allowed to run our economy into the ground with no pushback from Congress. But—only if the GOP maintains their razor-thin majority.

This race is the first winnable special election in 2025, and could very well tip the balance of power in the House.
