From the moment I was elected and began fighting for accountability in our government and working to protect our democracy, the GOP has been determined to unseat me.
A pro-Trump super PAC recently announced that it will spend $250 million in districts like PA-05 to support the president’s re-election and prop up local Republican candidates -- and now, a far-right extremist has announced his candidacy for this seat.
My opponent’s platform couldn’t be more wrong for our district -- and our country: He wants to build a “real” border wall, repeal the ACA, weaken gun laws, and defund Planned Parenthood. Personally, I can shake off absurd attacks that try to smear me as a socialist, but I draw the line at putting Pennsylvanian and American values on the line.
We know that the GOP playbook is to repeat far-right propaganda, no matter how ridiculous, until it sticks, so my team and I need to be ready to fight back -- but we need your support to set the record straight and focus on common-sense solutions, not extremist nonsense.
Our next fundraising deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and we are $1,948 short of our weekly fundraising goal. We can’t fall behind if we’re going to successfully ward off these attacks. Can you contribute $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can to combat the influence of the far right in PA-05?
