We already knew how important it was to take back the Senate and the White House this year, but the public health crisis our nation is facing today has made this fight even more urgent.
Right now, millions of Americans are unemployed. Small businesses across the country are struggling. Workers and families are worried about making rent and putting food on the table.
The Senate should be working to solve these problems and so many more during this crisis. But Majority Leader Mitch McConnell still doesn’t feel “the sense of urgency” for additional relief.
This unacceptable inaction from the Senate GOP has made it even more clear how important it is to elect a Democratic Senate this November. So here’s my request:
This grassroots team is our secret weapon in the fight to take back the Senate this fall. With each contribution, no matter how big or small, we’re building an even stronger movement -- and with your support, I am more confident than ever about our chances of a Democratic victory.
