I want to talk to you about something -- my colleague, Alabama Sen. Doug Jones, is in one of the most competitive 2020 races out there. He’s running against Jeff Sessions who Mitch McConnell wants to see back in the Senate.

Doug has time and again cast difficult votes to do what he knows is right despite the risks it may pose to his re-election. That’s the kind of person we need in the Senate.
