On day one, Donald Trump signed an executive order to end birthright citizenship — a move so extreme that even a Reagan-appointed judge called it “blatantly unconstitutional.”
Now, House Republicans are doubling down with H.R. 569, a bill that would rip citizenship away from American-born children whose parents aren’t citizens. This is a direct attack on the 14th Amendment — on our country’s very foundation.
Birthright citizenship has been the law of the land for over 125 years. But Trump and his allies don’t care about the Constitution — they care about pushing their extreme, anti-immigrant agenda as far as they can.
