As you know, we’re relying on grassroots supporters -- unlike Chris’s Republican opponent, Jay Obernolte, who has the means to fund his own campaign. Obernolte doesn’t have to worry about grassroots fundraising, so he doesn’t have to worry about staying accountable to the people.

That’s a big reason why Chris isn’t taking corporate PAC money — so she can be accountable to you and the people of CA-08.

Although we’ve had to cancel our in-person events in the community due to the pandemic, we know that the momentum is on our side.

The changing demographics of this district over the past few years mean that we’re better positioned than ever to flip this seat. In fact, many of the California House districts that flipped in the 2018 midterm elections had even smaller margins than ours.
