Invited!

Whether you've been involved for many years, or are new to the
Glacier family, we'd like to make sure you know about one of our
favorite opportunities to get together in community - the
Conservancy's Glacier Book Club!

What is Glacier Book Club?

Glacier Book Club is unlike any book club you've ever been to! We
gather every other month via ZOOM, and we're always joined by the
author of that month's book to take a deep dive into their
stories and really uncover what's beneath the surface. It's a
conversation in which we ask questions, start discussions, and
even get to explore the lighter side of our authors through a
rapid fire speed round. By the end of the hour, you'll know the
author as a person and a writer, learn a thing or two, and be in
community with fellow Glacier lovers from around the country.
Whether you're ready to dig deep and lead the conversation, or
you prefer to sit back and listen to your fellow book clubbers,
Glacier Book Club is the place for you!

How can I join?

Our next book club event ( [link removed] ) is being held on March 19th at 6:30 p.m. MT. All are welcome
and there's no commitment! Just register for free
( [link removed] ) and we'll send you a
zoom link so you can join from anywhere! We'll be discussing A
Woman Among Wolves
( [link removed] ) by Diane K.
Boyd. Don't have time to read the book? Drop in anyway! Get a
feel for how Glacier Book Club runs and you'll be even more
excited to get in on the fun next time!

How can I buy the books?

What People Are Saying About
Glacier Book Club:

"I joined right up at the very beginning not really knowing what
to expect, and it has been a real treat. I've made some great new
friends, read great books about things I might not have thought
to explore, and fell in love with Glacier Park all over again."

EdParticipant from North Carolina"I really look forward to the
Glacier Book Club events... I've been surprised about what a
powerful sense of community Doug, the authors, and the other
participants have been able to create. For me, it's a fun way to
stay connected from afar to a place that has meant and continues
to mean a great deal to me and to many."

JanetParticipant from Missouri"I was one of the first authors to
participate in Glacier Book Club in the fall of 2020 and we had
over 50 people from around the country gathered together to talk
about my book The Wolverine Way. It was really fun to share news
about one of the most exciting yet least-known animals in North
America with a group of folks so passionate about this special
part of the world and its wildlife. When Doug Mitchell asked me
to come back in 2023 to talk about my new book, he got an instant
YES!"

Doug ChadwickAuthor of fifteen books, including two
Glacier Book Club selections"Glacier Book Club has really made us
feel like part of the Conservancy family. We'll regularly get a
call from Doug to talk about potential books, and Amy has a way
of coaxing us out of our shell to ask a question or two. It's
really fun!"

Eric and TanyaParticipants from Ohio"As an author, it's always a
pleasure to spend time with readers, but there's something
special about the Glacier Book Club. Perhaps it's that everyone
has the shared talisman of the park, but somehow a sense of
belonging and caring really comes through. The moderators work
hard to keep things fun and interesting, and their well-prepared,
thoughtful questions keep everyone engaged. All four of my
Glacier Mystery Series books have been featured selections, and
each time I've had a wonderful experience with this terrific
group!"
