Tens of thousands of DREAMers call Illinois home. Many of them live here in the Third District. When I announced my campaign last year, I pledged that I would fight for the rights of DREAMers and immigrant families. 

For years, President Trump and his allies have demonized and fear mongered about DACA. They have threatened mass deportations and are attempting to remove the program entirely. Let me be clear: this is unacceptable. We should stand strong in our opposition to these inhumane policies.

Right now, the Supreme Court is making a decision over whether the Trump administration can terminate DACA. Add your name to urge Congress to protect DREAMers.

It is vital that we speak out against the President’s cruel immigration agenda. We need to reject this hateful rhetoric and work towards a forward-thinking immigration policy based on compassion and humanity.

And we absolutely cannot allow this administration to rip families apart. Congress must act to protect DACA recipients and establish a path to citizenship that is clear and expedient.
