Churches Are Reopening With Caution
John, churches across the country are excited about reopening, but also wary of the risks. How does a church open up services with the necessary precautions in place to follow the law while protecting vulnerable congregants?
I started Pacific Justice Institute over 20 years ago to protect and equip people of faith with the resources they need to know their rights and live out their faith with confidence. That's the reason why I've been so committed to hosting these weekly Zoom calls during the COVID-19 pandemic. The PJI legal team and I will be hosting our next call TOMORROW, May 28th at 2pm PDT / 5pm EDT. We want to address the following topics:
- Why PJI is moving forward with pending lawsuits against Oregon and California governors.
- President Trump's recent support for the reopening of churches
- How churches can legally follow and navigate through current state guidelines to ensure a safe reopening.
This call is free, so don't hesitate to register by clicking the "REGISTER" button below.
You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting link immediately after you register. I would love to hear your questions, so during the call, feel free to ask what is on your mind through the Zoom chat feature.
I am sure you know of someone who would benefit from the information on this call. Please forward this email to give them the chance to know how to open their church! We have found that people really appreciate these free calls. Read what Thomas from Oregon said about last week's call: " Thanks for the checklists and the service! So happy for your help in OR." Wherever you live, we pray this call with equip you to help your church reopen.
Running the race,
Brad Dacus with the
Pacific Justice Institute Team
