John, Black History is under ATTACK from Trump and his MAGA Republicans.
They’re doing everything they can to ERASE Black history, REWRITE the past, and PROSECUTE teachers who refuse to teach MAGA’s version of history.
That’s why we’ve set a goal to collect 10,000 signatures on the first day of Black History Month for our petition to demand Congress pass the Black History is American History Act. Will you sign on before midnight?
Donald Trump and the MAGA right are working to indoctrinate the next generation by teaching them a false version of history.
They don’t want anybody to know about the contributions of Black leaders, activists, and artists.
They don’t want anyone to know about the horrors of slavery, Jim Crow, and the legacies of racism that continue to this day.
They create these false narratives because they make it easier for Trump and his cronies to consolidate power, undermine resistance, and control Americans.
We can’t let that happen. So please, be one of the 10,000 people we need to sign our day-one Black History Month petition. DEMAND Congress pass the Black History is American History Act! The petition closes at midnight, so don’t wait to add your name.
Thank you,
