Greetings! Today I had the honor of traveling on Air Force One with President Trump to watch the space shuttle launch from Kennedy Space Center. Although the launch ended up being postponed because of weather, I wanted to share a few thoughts I had from this momentous occasion. What a unifying event for our country! The ingenuity and the collaboration are a perfect example of the American dream we are all fighting for. When we put our hearts and our minds into the work that we do, there is nothing that we can’t overcome. We strive for greatness or we don’t strive at all! Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats have a different vision - one where we don’t rely on our own blood, sweat and tears but instead sit back and wait for the government to come to do the work for us. Their plan calls for higher taxes, less individual freedom and less of the ingenuity that made a company like Space X possible. That’s why we need to ensure President Trump is re-elected and has strong allies in Congress that will fight back against Speaker Pelosi’s socialist agenda.
