Community Forums Highlight Proposed Wildfire Recovery Grant Funding 

Governor Mark Gordon *visited with hundreds of affected landowners, local elected officials, emergency responders, and the public* [ [link removed] ] in Sheridan, Gillette, and Wheatland to outline his $130 million supplemental budget request for wildfire restoration and recovery efforts.

During his visits, the Governor heard loud and clear from the 200+ attendees – landowners need grants, not loans, to help rebuild from the historic impacts of the 2024 fire season.

RIDE Education Initiative Shines in Kemmerer

Governor Gordon got the opportunity to see his Reimaging and Innovating the Delivery of Education (RIDE) initiative at work during a visit to Kemmerer Junior/Senior High School. SHOT Show highlights Wyoming's Firearms industry

The National Shooting Sports Foundation SHOT Show is an opportunity to visit with Wyoming companies and potentially grow state's firearms industry. Governor Gordon v met with national leaders and participated in the Governors' Forum to discuss the importance of the firearms industry to our economy.
