Team, this isn't the email I wanted to send.

Yesterday was my first major fundraising deadline since Trump was sworn in again – but we ended January $2,956 short of our $20,000 goal.

With the damage he's already done in these first two weeks – and upcoming confirmation votes for more of his far-right cabinet nominees like RFK Jr. – this setback couldn't have come at a worse time.

If we don't close this gap, MAGA Republicans will take it as a sign that Democrats simply don't have the momentum to stand up to their anti-abortion, pro-billionaire, and sometimes downright unconstitutional agenda. I want to show people through our fundraising numbers that Democrats are energized and ready to fight back. 

But if everyone reading this pitches in $5 before midnight, we can prove them DEAD WRONG – so I'm extending the deadline for one night only to make up the difference.
