Throughout the course of this campaign, we have been fortunate to receive endorsements from some incredible people and groups, who believe in our people powered movement. Brand New Congress, Blue America, Nassau County DSA, Muslims for Progress, Our Progressive Future, Long Island Activists, QUIP and Marianne Williamson, amongst others, have all endorsed our campaign and believe in the movement we're building.
Today we are fortunate enough to receive another incredible endorsement from Millennials for Bernie. Millennials for Bernie is a group of young organizers that came together during the 2016 Presidential primary in order to organize around the working class policies Bernie Sanders so strongly advocates for. Their endorsement means so much to me because I have spent the better part of a decade also organizing around Bernie Sanders and the working class policies we so desperately need. Young people face a capitalist system that uses greed to oppress, marginalize and destroy our environment. While we are being tormented by the greed of this system, our future is being stolen from us. Millennials for Bernie understand that the status-quo does not need to be our future. Together we can end status-quo politics and fight for working class people!
I am honored to have their support, as we fight for the same values in New York’s 5th Congressional district.
