Weekend Service Impacts

* *Route 70 and RapidRide E Line* will be rerouted off of 3rd Avenue S and S Main Street from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 1 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 2 due to construction;
* *Routes 2, 7, 13, 14, 21, 40, 36, 124, 131 and 132* will be rerouted and will not serve stop #515 at 3rd Avenue S & S Main Street from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 1 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 2 due to construction;
* *Route 27* will have stop #27745 Lakeside Avenue S & S Day Street (Southbound) relocated from Friday, January 31 through Sunday, February 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily due to construction;
* *Routes 10, 12, and 49* will have stop #11150 E Pine Street & Harvard Avenue (Eastbound) closed on Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day due to construction.
* *Route 62* will be rerouted off of a portion of 3rd Avenue S and S Washington Street from Saturday, February 1 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, February 2 at 8 p.m. due to construction;
* *Route 124* will be rerouted off of Airport Way S between S Lucile Street and S Industrial Way from Friday, January 31 at 7 p.m. to Saturday, February 1 at 6 a.m. due to construction;
* *Routes 181 and 187* will have stop #83703 SW 320th Street & 21st Avenue SW (Eastbound) relocated on Friday, January 31 due to construction;
* *Routes ST 542 and ST 545* to Redmond will not serve Stop #71353 SR 520 & NE 51st Street (Northbound) Saturday, February 1 from 9 p.m. through end of service due to construction;

Service Reminders

* Take transit to all your sporting events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena [ [link removed] ];
* The *Kraken* will play on Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Climate Pledge Arena [ [link removed] ];

* *Water Taxi [ [link removed] ]* will continue a year-round midday sailing schedule; 

* The fall and winter sailing schedule began on October 12th. Find the sailing schedule on the Water Taxi's Captain's Blog [ [link removed] ];

* *Seattle Center Monorail [ [link removed] ] *will operate normal hours this weekend except for Sunday when it will run 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
* Riders can use Text for Departures [ [link removed] ] by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
* Remember, it's free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts [ [link removed] ] about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).

Know before you go

* Visit MetroWinter.com [ [link removed] ] for tips on traveling during winter weather on bus, Access paratransit, streetcar, the King County Water Taxi or Metro Flex on-demand services. There are eight languages offered on the webpage including English, plus additional languages via the Google Translate tool.
* *What’s a snow route?* If buses can’t travel their regular routes due to roadway conditions, they might switch to alternate streets called snow routes. Preview snow routes [ [link removed] ] for your favorite bus routes. Updates will be posted on Metro’s service advisories web page [ [link removed] ].
* *Winter snow brochures *are available on buses and other transit services, and include helpful travel tips and information.
* *Want updates about changes to your bus route?* Sign up to receive Transit Alerts [ [link removed] ] via text or email for the routes and services you rely on. Already a subscriber? Review your subscriptions and make updates as we add new routes across King County.

* *In extreme weather, travel only if necessary.*
* *Metro continues to collect fares* during adverse weather. However, our operators will never make fares a barrier to people traveling in safety situations, such as riding to a warming center during cold snaps or a cooling center during summer heat waves.

Real-time updates

Get real-time updates on whether your trip is operating, when it’s due to depart or if it’s been canceled.


* *Text your bus stop number to 62550* to receive a list of the next bus trips headed your way. Each trip will either show an estimated arrival time, “s” for scheduled, or “canceled.” Save *62550* in your phone in advance to help yourself remember. The number is also posted at bus stops.
* *Next departures* information is also available on Metro’s Trip Planner [ [link removed] ] in the upper right corner of the page.

In addition to buses, winter weather can delay or cancel transit service on other modes. Please double-check before you travel. Planned to launch as soon as 2030, the 16-mile RapidRide K Line service [ [link removed] ] will connect the fast-growing communities between Totem Lake, downtown Kirkland, downtown Bellevue and the Eastgate Park-and-Ride.
