Dear AFGE Activist,
Today, the Trump administration issued an executive order targeting union contracts in the federal government. AFGE National President Everett Kelley has made it clear: AFGE will aggressively defend our union contracts.
President Kelley’s Statement:
"Today’s executive order is one more action taken by Mr. Musk and the Trump administration this week attempting to frighten and confuse career federal employees.
"Federal employees should know that approved union contracts are enforceable by law, and the president does not have the authority to make unilateral changes to those agreements. AFGE members will not be intimidated. If our contracts are violated, we will aggressively defend them.”
AFGE remains committed to protecting your rights and ensuring that your negotiated contracts are upheld. Stay strong, stay informed, and know that we will mobilize together to defend your workplace rights.
In Solidarity,
AFGE
