*Right of Entry Forms Now Available in Spanish [ [link removed] ]*
More than* 4,773* Right of Entry forms have been submitted online as of 4 PM, Friday, Jan. 31, 2025. The form, available in Spanish and English, is part of Phase 2 [ [link removed] ] of debris removal and requires applicants to decide to opt-in or opt-out to the county's free nonhazardous debris removal program. By opting into the program, residents are ensured safe removal of debris by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at no cost to them. Of the submissions received* 4,576* have opted-in and *197* have opted-out.

*The deadline to submit the Right of Entry form [ [link removed] ] is March 31, 2025*. Residents can call the* Fire Debris Hotline* at (*844) 347-3332 *with questions or to get help completing the form*. *In-person assistance also is available at the Disaster Recovery Centers [ [link removed] ] from 9 AM to 8 PM.
Currently underway is Phase 1 [ [link removed] ] of the debris removal program, which includes the removal of hazardous debris.
*Pacific Coast Highway Repens to Essential Traffic Sunday [ [link removed] ]*
Pacific Coast Highway will reopen to essential traffic on Sunday, February 2 at 8 AM. PCH will be limited to one lane in each direction to allow for cleanup and utility restoration work. For more information click here. [ [link removed] ]
*Ocean Water Closure Due to Sewage Release [ [link removed] ]*
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued an ocean water closure *from **Encinal Canyon to 31250 Broad Beach Rd., in Malibu *due to the release of untreated sewage. The Department of Public Health will conduct water sampling, and the closures will remain in effect until Public Health receives two sampling results indicating that bacterial levels meet health standards.
Due to the increase in fire debris along the ocean waters, the Ocean Water Closure for Las Flores State Beach to Santa Monica State Beach [ [link removed] ] remains in effect. *Beach users should avoid water and stay away from fire debris or heavy ash on the sand*. *Pasadena Disaster Recovery Center's Final Day Jan. 31, Transitions to Altadena [ [link removed] ]*
The Disaster Recovery Center at Pasadena City College will be shutting down at 8 PM on Jan. 31, 2025. Services will transition to the Altadena Disaster Recovery Center located at 540 W. Woodbury Rd. Altadena, CA 91001.
Residents will be able to access recovery services at the remaining Disaster Recovery Centers located in *Altadena *and* UCLA Research Park West, *which will be open seven days a week from 9 AM to 8 PM.

*Property Tax Relief [ [link removed] ]*
Governor Newsom has signed an Executive Order suspending penalties, costs, and interest on late property tax payments for properties impacted by the wildfires. This suspension will remain in effect until April 10, 2026, for secured and unsecured property taxes due in calendar year 2025. After April 10, 2026, individuals who are unable to pay their property taxes may submit a penalty cancellation request online at ttc.lacounty.gov [ [link removed] ] for up to four years. Residents can access updated frequently asked questions about wildfires [ [link removed] ] and self-service options on the Treasurer and Tax Collector [ [link removed] ] website.
*How to Apply for FEMA Relief & Appeal a FEMA Decision [ [link removed] ]*
Residents seeking financial help after the devastation of the wildfires can request FEMA assistance here [ [link removed] ]. *The deadline to apply is March 10, 2025*.

Business-to-Business Space Share connects displaced businesses and nonprofits with temporary workspaces generously donated by businesses throughout LA County. Through the Space Share portal, businesses with available space can post listings with details such as location, capacity, and availability.
