The Trump administration showed a reckless disregard for working families this week, as freezing essential federal programs jeopardized child care, health care, and good-paying jobs and left countless Minnesotans wondering how they would make ends meet. 

I spoke out about this unconstitutional order and the devastating harm it would cause. And I wasn’t alone. Minnesotans across the state took action — calling their representatives, organizing in their communities, and making their voices heard. 

And you know what? We won. The Trump administration backed down. This proves that people power is stronger than Trump’s MAGA machine. 

But this fight isn’t over. Trump and his allies have shown that they’re willing to break the law and put working families at risk. We know they’ll try again, and we must be ready to fight back.
