Oklahoma,

Are you getting tired of winning? Because that's what we have been doing all week. President Trump and the Department of Homeland Security are rounding up and pushing out violent illegal aliens, we're confirming his cabinet picks left and right, and the administration is stripping harmful, divisive policies. It has only been 12 days. We've seen more leadership in these almost two weeks than we've seen in four years.

Good news! President Trump now has TWICE as many cabinet nominees confirmed today compared to this point in 2017. But, we cannot step off the gas. My Senate colleagues on the left are still dragging their feet on crucial nominees that are important toour national security. While the Democrats are focused on auditioning for an MSNBC show in hearings, the Senate GOP is united in standing with President Trump and the agenda Americans voted for in November.

We're full steam ahead and won't stop until Trump's team is fully in place. So far, we've confirmed eight of Trump's nominations. The Senate GOP got John Ratcliffe over the line as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Sean Duffy as Secretary of Transportation, Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security, Scott Bessent as Secretary of the Treasury, Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, Doug Burgum as Secretary of the Interior, and Lee Zeldin as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I’m urging all my colleagues to support Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. so we can confirm them ASAP.

On Tuesday, the Senate voted on a sanctions bill against the International Criminal Court. You would think standing with our ally would get bipartisan support, yet only one Democratic Senator crossed the aisle to join us in defending our partner that's under attack. I can assure you that Oklahoma never has to worry where I stand on Israel's sovereignty. I will always vote to protect them and their fight to exist.

We're wrapping up another week here in Washington. However, this weekend we're not in session. Leader Thune is doing an excellent job of speedily getting the nominees through. Many have asked why we're headed home this weekend. I want to make one thing clear, we're moving as fast as we can. Watch me break down the process in this week's Weekly Wrap Up.

On Tuesday morning, I had the opportunity to speak with the Christian Student Leadership Conference, which included ten students from Oklahoma. It was great to share my faith journey with so many engaged students and answer their questions. My faith is something I take with me to the halls of the Senate everyday. I stressed the importance of how I lean on His guidance daily and how my relationship with Him has gotten me where I am today.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Beth Mills, the Oklahoma School Counselor of the Year. Counselors provide invaluable work and resources to our students. From advising them on their academics, being a shoulder to lean on, and pushing them to new heights, counselors are vital to a student's learning and wellbeing. Thank you Beth for making the trip to come see me. Even more important, thank you for what you've done for Oklahoma's students.

I'm not one to shy away from a fight, and my friend Tulsi Gabbard isn't either. We're making the push for her leadership and confirmation everyday. Additionally, I'm bringing the same fight for every nominee to my colleagues. We already saw what happens when the hard work pays off.

Last week, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was confirmed 51-50 before the Senate. He's since hit ground running. He's building up the American warfighter and the United States' defense capabilities. On Wednesday, I joined Will Cain's new show on Fox News to unpack the road ahead for the nominees we still need to confirm and the actions of who we already put in place.
